You can choose between countryside and coast, with our highly-ranked 4-year MPharm pharmacy course available to study at both the University of Bath and the University of Plymouth.

For those interested in studying our four-year programme but don't quite have the qualifications needed to apply, there is the option to apply to study our five-year Plymouth-based MPharm with preparatory year.

This programme provides the knowledge and experience to bring students to the same academic standing as those entering year one of our four-year MPharm. If you successfully pass the preparatory year, you will be able to progress on to year one of our four-year MPharm.

Whichever programme you choose to study, you will graduate with a University of Bath MPharm degree.

Placements are great opportunities to broaden your skills and decide the area of pharmacy that best fits you and your career. During your course, you’ll go on regular placements in healthcare settings, gaining hands-on experience in hospitals, GP surgeries, and community pharmacies. We have strong relationships with local NHS Trusts across the South West, as well as with leading national community pharmacy chains, including Boots and Day Lewis Pharmacy.

Our final-year pharmacy students consistently gain high-quality Foundation Training places in a variety of sectors across the UK through the national NHS recruitment process.
